The Department manages two food service units on campus that provide nutritious meals to staff and students while offering Food and Nutrition students practical, on-the-job learning opportunities.
Also the production units deals with the production of all kinds of graduation gowns and hats and also into the production of all manner of fabric designs and its production, jewelry production etc.

The Department
The Department of Vocational and Technical Education was established in 1993 through the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Ghana, with the vision of training qualified educators in Vocational and Technical Education to take up teaching and supervisory roles in Education and the Service Industry.
